In The Woods 2012

The weeks leading up to the start of Spring Gobbler season are the most important weeks of the year for any turkey guide or hunter. The time spent in the woods can determine the amount of success a guide or hunter has. This year is no different. The time spent scouting is both educational and long for any guide. I've spent no less than 100 hours in the woods leading up to the start of spring gobbler over the past several weeks. This is not counting the time spent in the woods during the 2011 deer season. I use the time not only to deer hunt, but to also pattern my birds and simply to get educated on what they do or don't do. Time is what it takes to be successful.
As we approach the start of the 2012 season the birds are right on target. Doing what they have done for the past 6 months. They are following the paths, they are roosting in the same general area and going to the same places to scratch and nest. This season promises to be an excellent season.
As a result of our success over the past several years we have tripled our amount of clients for 2012. This success and increased business is the result of placing our faith in the Lord.
